Indian Bridal Outfits has No Comparison All Over

Indian wears for bride have no comparison in the world. They are unique. Indian bridal outfits are given due importance as wedding is considered very important day of bride’s life. Thus looking good is their right. Bridal wears here are so amazing that they make entire day charming. Though with times Indian wedding dresses has seen great change but they have not lost their traditional feel.



Traditional Indian bridal dresses are very different from present day dresses in every respect. First let’s take color of the dress. Earlier bride’s used to wear red and maroon color dresses only but today brides make statement in their own choice color dress. They wear pink, orange, blue, green etc all color dresses. With respect to designs and pattern also huge difference has come. Previously heavy and highly designed dresses were demand of the time. They have a lot of embroidery, sequin and patterns work done on them. But the contemporary bridal clothing is completely different from their prior counterparts. Modern day dresses are light weight, less designed and comfy but maintains traditional touch. They greatly enhance beauty of the bride. Fabric wise also choices are ample like crepe, georgette, silk, satin etc.

There are three main types of Indian bridal clothing mentioned below. Though they are worn in different ways in different parts of the country but their silhouette is same. The primary types of Indian bridal clothing include:

Sari

Sari is the most traditional wear of Indian brides. Bridal sarees are unique, elegant and one of its kind. No other attire beats their charm. They take appearance of the bride to the height. Bridal sarees are made of different fabrics like silk, satin, georgette, chiffon etc. Commonly they are of red color but not compulsorily.

Lehenga Choli

Lehenga Choli is another outstanding Indian bridal wear. It is known by many names like Ghagra Choli, Chaniya Choli, Sharara, Garara, Lancha etc.Bridal Lehenga Choli is also a traditional attire of India like saree and is much liked by women. In every part of India it is highly worn. It is very comfortable too.

Salwar Kameez

Salwar Kameez is the third most worn bridal attire. Salwar Kameez is highly worn attire in different occasions but not much worn by brides. It is not so famous like Sari and Lehenga Choli. Usually, they are seen in the Sikh marriages. The advantageous thing about this outfit is that they are very comfortable to wear.
These are three most famous attires of Indian wedding. These attires are looked upon as the pride of an Indian bride and greatly represent them. Their place can never be taken over by any other attire in Indian bride’s life. These exclusive creations will always remain in demand for generations.
